Operation Catfish Relocation |
Here at Flyingfarm I personally consider fishing a
way to just sit there doing absolutely nothing without people thinking
your a complete loafer. Its also an acceptable excuse to sit around
and drink beer.
As far as the sport or an effective way of
catching fish, I can take it or leave it.
So when I wanted to
move fish from one pond to another, I decided to use my big "catch &
release" trap that we use for raccoons & other varmints.
Putting
a varmint trap in the pond earned me a lot of of ridicule & the brunt
of some pretty good laughs.
Well, they weren't laughing as loud
the other day when we hauled out this 50 lb cat fish.
We hoisted
the cage up on the jeep & ran them up to our big lake.
